Workshops

I offer a variety of education workshops that can support your staff's knowledge and competence in navigating human-animal relationships. Workshops are offered to organizations such as (but not limited to) veterinary hospitals, animal shelters/rescues, and therapy practices.  

Workshop topics include:

• Identifying and managing compassion fatigue and secondary trauma 

• How to help pet owners with end of life decision making 

• Supporting pet-related grief

• Improving communication and conflict management among staff

• Navigating emotional support animal requests (a therapist guide)

• Implementing animal assisted therapy in clinical practice (a therapist guide)
